Gee, It's Been Awhile.....
A really quick catch up post...
Sam and Taiya went to the big 4 day Denver shows and Sam came away with a Best of Opposite in Puppy Sweeps and a brand new shiny **5 point major**!! Not bad for 9 months old.
Then Babe, Sam Taiya and I went to Arizona and came home with an Award of Merit for Babe from the Specialty and another 2 points for Sam.
Don't feel too bad for Taiya.... she was acting like an idiot in Denver and in Arizona the first 3 days. Once she got her act together and figured out how to move in straight line, she did very well, placing in her very big class both of the last 2 days in Arizona. Just like her mother, I think Taiya will be really something when she hits her stride.
Baby Ryan has gone to a few matches and classes. In fact she's going to two matches this weekend with her brother Winter. Ryan's first show will be Albuquerque over Mother's Day weekend. Maybe she'll be trained by then??
Max now has two sisters with Rally titles. Blue in Illinois got her RN title last month joining Rio in Iowa who has her RA title as the first two WhiteStar dogs to have AKC performance titles. Max really needs to get his fluffy rear in gear and catch up to his two sisters! Actually I've started training her grandmother Kachina and she'll be the next WhiteStar girl with a Rally title (I hope!)
The snow finally melted and the dogs look like mudballs these days. I'm trying to give at least two - three baths a week to various dogs to keep on top of it but it's a losing battle. Sam Ryan and Taiya all had baths on Sunday and by Monday afternoon were filthy. Oh well. Springtime in the Rockies.
