Too busy!!

So much to catch up on!!

Kelly came in season so we are trying to do the puppy thing again. I know two litters in one year is unheard of for me but while Kelly is only 4, the dog I want to breed her to is eleven so we need to get this done while the getting is good.

Kelly flew (yes really) out to Oregon this past week where she is staying at Camp Snowater until the National.

Is Kelly enjoying her visit to the Pacific Northwest?

You tell me. Is that a happy dog or what?

Meanwhile back in Colorado....

This past weekend Babe, Max and I had a fairly successful weekend at the big Greeley Kennel Club dog shows.

Babe took Best of Breed on Saturday over competition which included several nationall y ranked specials as well as a mutliple Best in Show Winner. I was also very pleased with how she improved her performance in the Group ring. She didn't place but she showed reasonably well.

Max (aka The Reserve King) took another Reserve. Reserve after Reserve gets frustrating sometimes, but at least I know he is in contention a good part of the time I show him.

Our next shows are the Denver Specialty in three weeks and then... the National!!

Tina

That's her name. For now anyway. I thank everyone who voted and now I'm going to ignore what the majority said anyway. It was interesting to see how the voting went. Lola went out to an early lead, the Tina took over and it looked like a runaway. Then slowly slowly Zara crept up and took the front spot for quite a while, then late this week Lola took over a commanding lead. But she's a Tina. Really. She is.

Good News! My barely 2 year old, $500 fancy camera is not broken. No excuse not to get a picture of Miss Tina Turner with both ears up! Soon! Yes, you've heard that story before....
