What Has Babe Been Up To?

Babe went to another match! And came home with this:

After working so hard Babe needs her beauty sleep...

Babe is a winner!

But I already knew that.

Yesterday Babe went to her first ever puppy match. The competition was stiff. First up in the 6-9 puppy dog class was Dodge. Dodge is actually Babe's uncle even though he is two months younger than she is.

Next up in the 6-9 puppy bitch class was Dodge's sister Faith and Babe. Babe managed to squeeze by Faith for a first place finish.

The final puppy in competition was Kaelin in the 6-9 month bitch class.

Once the initial class judging was over the class winners, Dodge, Babe and Kaelin, went back in for Best of Breed. Babe won!!! She got a foot long rawhide stick which she shared outside the ring with a new friend, a 10 month old Akita.

Back in the ring again for group competition. Babe had to go head to head with her new Akita firend, an Alaskan Malamute, a Bernese Mountain Dog, a Portugese Water Dog, a Rottweiler and Siberian. Other than the Rottweiler, who was the same age as Babe, the other dogs were all much older, closer to a year.

Again Babe showed like she had been doing it all her life and ended up taking third behind the very nice Rottie and the very nice Akita. The Rottie went on to take Best in Match yesterday, an honor she very much deserved.

Yeah Babe!!!
